The Building Management System (BMS) at The Savoy Hotel was successfully upgraded from legacy Trend IQ1, IQ2 and IQ3 controllers to the latest Trend IQ5 platform, while maintaining full hotel operations throughout the project.
Delivering this upgrade within a live, world-renowned hospitality environment required careful planning, phased implementation and close coordination with hotel operations teams to minimise disruption to guests and staff. The project modernised the site’s BMS infrastructure, improving system performance, reliability and future scalability, while ensuring uninterrupted operation of critical building services.
By completing the migration seamlessly in an occupied environment, the project provided The Savoy with a future-ready controls platform without compromising the guest experience.
