Athene Place is an office building in the city of London and is home to a British multinational professional services network and major financial institution in Deloitte. In 2009 the building received refurbishment work and minor extension work. Part of these works included a BMS upgrade.

This is where Syscom got involved and were tasked with completing a major floor and plant fitout which included 7 floors of terminal units with FCU’s. The existing old Siemens AS1000 upgraded to PXC/RXC systems. The new controllers were integrated into the existing Siemens Desigo system which also received a version upgrade. Whilst these BMS works were carried out Syscom ensured the occupied building maintained comfort conditions for occupants and critical control conditions on the other floors.
